International media just cover incidents or politicians, and forget about people. Just at the Idomeni camp there are over 12.000 people, mostly families, that are escaping form a war. Most of them have lost relatives or have suffered the war themselves. They only want to carry on with their lives far from a war that is no theirs. EU directions on closing borders have separated families, fathers stranded in Greece while their sons are in an european country. Officials estimate that just at the Idomeni camp there are over 150 underage children alone, with no family to support them. The intention of this project is to show european people that these are real people, real families whose homes have been destroyed and have nothing but a certain death and poverty back at their homelands.
