Caribbean Renaissance

Cuba is an double island, light and shadow. Its capital Havana still maintains the architectural signs of colonialism along with those of a recent renewal; only its population seems to keep intact its spirit, in celebration of May 1, the largest Labor Day in the world, or in important events such as the funeral of Juan Formell, where a crowd of Cubans paids tribute to the celebrated director of the orchestra "Los Van Van", one of the most important personality of Cuban musical culture; despite all this, pride, tradition, poverty and desire, live together in an unusual caribbean renaissance.
