Currently more then 70 thousand asylum seekers are in Italy waiting to be interviewed by the commissions competent to asses their request or to get an answer from the Italian courts for the appeals. Unfortunately, the average wait for the entire process is from 15 to 24 months. During this long period these guys leave an half life: on the one hand because they leave exactly on the half way from what they leaved in their own country and what their lives will be after the results. On the other, they live a suspended life where the time is dilated, the wait seems to never finish and any kind of barriers obstruct the opportunity to leave in a complete way. Thus, the commission day is the only one thing give them the strength to look forward, and all the life depend from that day. This day becomes so, the key trough which represent and give back the portraits of all the asylum seekers live this wait and this condition.
