Long exposure makes the Eternal structure and its ephemeral creatures distinct. Over decades, people have disappeared, but this palace hasn’t changed. This historic structure has endured over a long period of time. Works of Hiroshi Sugimoto and Matthew Pillsbury were my inspiration for this body of work; they record the passing of time through the medium of photography in a surreal way.
