Unshaken by the wind (Statues of New York)

Statues are not only visual representation of human figures, but also metaphors for their ideas. These historical objects are placed as barometers of past, present and future. If statues are objects that represent the dead figure forever, statues from my work are objects that live forever with what is still alive. Work of Daguerre’s Boulevard du Temple was my inspiration for this body of work.
