Every city has its unique light. An ambience that sets it apart from other places in time and space. LA is no exception. This photograph, from the 2016 Series ‘When People Build Fences’, was taken in a downtown parking lot. Its interrupted gradient colour field a vivid reminder of the city’s fading yet intense love affair with hippy dreams and the transparent illusion of Hollywood stardom.
