When people build fences

Every city has its unique light. An ambience that sets it apart from other places in time and space. LA is no exception. These photographs, from the 2016 Series ‘When people build fences’, were taken in and around downtown parking lots. Their interrupted gradient colour fields a vivid reminder of the city’s fading yet intense love affair with hippy dreams and the transparent illusion of Hollywood stardom.
