True and imaginated mountains

  • Photographer
    Andrea Gasparotto

I represent the enchant of the snow-covered mountain landscape, as seen during my ski-mountaineering excursions in the alps. Some of the photos are perfectly true and real, other are composite optical illusions obtained with the insertion of tiny human figures inside close-up particulars of the snow coverage, like a fantastic dream giving the perception of a vaste and unspoiled ambient. The whole series wants to represent the smallness of the human being in front of the hugeness of a pristine mountain ambient.
