Childhood

This project is about a place(a alley) where I were born and where I passed of my whole childhood. It was begun from 2011, and now it have converted to a total ruin with weeds. Until now, I still go there to take some photos. But the emotion of angry and sad to the transformation of my city at the first time have already changed a lot during these 5 years. I am growing up, I will become older and older and then, I will die. But this alley, this place where I lived and knew for the first time how could I call for the name of everything has already died physically. Its dead, is not a tragedy but a melancholic ritual that symbolized the cruelty of time. Like many peoples know, a lot of places of China are suffering a violente transformation. However, for me, what I think I could do in front of this violence is not a a socially and simply criticism, but a emotional collection of the entire details of its past life, and so the mine.
