Through A Door

  • Photographer
    Jonathan Sparkman

The intimate spaces we inhabit provide a unique backdrop into a glimpse of our lives, and a signifier into our personalities. Doors, mirrors and windows act as metaphors into the emotional transition between humans, a passageway that connects us to each other on a subconscious level. Consider each image as a landscape populated by human interaction, whilst being encouraged to dwell upon the fleeting and unknown qualities in each of these deliberately constructed scenarios. This work concentrates on the tense moments in our almost banal modern life, providing a bleak commentary on human interaction.
