I met her in Makeni, a village in Sierra Leone. A dream which I cannot forget.

My name is Matteo, I'm Italian and I was born in 1989. I'm a nurse and I became a photojournalist after obtaining a master's degree from the school Officine Fotografiche of Rome. I'm working since 2016 in a long-term project called "Good morning Città Bianca". The project deals with mental and neurological illness in the same clinic where I work as a nurse.
