What happens to a place, when it gets forgotten? How does one feel, when you visit it? My light paintings show decayed cellars and vaults, which let no daylight in and are therefore imperceivable for our bare human eye. You can smell them, here them, but you can’t see them. I take light to those places to bring back the stories, the function and life, which used to be there.
