A Hmong girl sits outside her family's home in the Laotian countryside. Hmong youth often are dressed in traditional attire in the hopes of attracting tourist income by posing for photo ops, in many cases while selling trinkets on the side of the road. I couldn't help but imagine that she was preparing for another day of work, perhaps wishing for something else instead.
