His face appears to have arisen from a distant epoch reminiscent of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, knowledge without effort, speaking without words, bringing the past into a present. There is a magical appeal in the projection of Christian spiritual mysticism and in the serene and noble Spanish sensibilities in all of their manifestations. I see a beautiful spirit, not only in his external appearance, but in the light exuding from his heart and soul.
