In 2012, after working 21 years in industry, I quit as director at Unileverto focus on my passion: photography. I realised that although I made pictures since my early youth I lacked some of the skills required to create the fine-art images I envisioned. So I went ‘back to school’ and graduated top of my class from the Fotovakschool, Rotterdam in 2015. Since then I make fine-art photographs; mostly conceptual and staged images that show an incomplete story or an unexpected twist that invites the viewer to think and wonder about what she/he is actually seeing and what it means
