This is Francesca Voi's story. She died from a rare tumor in December 2016. She imagined this "thing" as a crawling spider, and the metastasis like the offspring. Bodypainting acheived the feat of representing it, just as the tear represents the baby she could have never had anymore. Her will to live, her courage, her strength in fighting the illness to the bitter end inspired me for the title of this story. May the world know about Francesca Voi.
