Shadow Figures-- series

These are digital photo composites. They are not planned or staged, but are found, captured and whole photos are combined in Photoshop. I find the silhouette images interesting and mysterious, as there is no sense of who they are, where they are or what they are doing. I try to make images unlike those I've seen before-- in this case, a little on the dark side. There is always the surprise of discovery, the search for something unique, and the irony of making photos that may not eventually resemble photographs.
