This series contains photographs taken during some of my travels in northern Europe: Lofoten Islands in Norway, Isle of Skye in the Scottish highlands and Ireland. There is something in the particular sunlight, in the ever-changing weather that continuously shapes the landscape, in the peaceful, minimalistic wilderness you can find in these places that simply fascinates me. They make me think about the fundamental, elemental forces that shape the Earth since its primordial times, tokens of its immortal (yet fragile) beauty.
