Nord Kivu Streets

In January 2016 I attended Tuungane, a two-month meeting of 90 village leaders in North Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I was very impressed with the trip that some participants have to do every two months to go to Kimbulu, the venue for the meeting. A walking trip that can last several days, in dangerous and at the same time gorgeous roads. In the days before the Tuungane I went those same streets to visit some of the villages. All the shoots besides 003, 004, 008 are made from the window of a moving car.
