In winter 2018/2019, I photographed traditional architecture of Turiec and Liptov regions in northern Slovakia. I was especially interested in the geometry of forms, textures, colours and abstract quality of the architectural details as well as scenes portraying the character of Slovak traditional village, its life and aesthetics.

Milan Gonda graduated from MA Social Anthropology at University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies. During his studies, he focused on visual anthropology and ethnographic film. Short after his studies, he engaged with freelance photography. He is mostly interested in landscape, travel, architectural and abstract photography.
