Minimalism-Infinity; Light-Contrast;Dream-Consciousness; Reality-Surrealism; Expressionism-Abstraction... Photography, like any other artistic discipline, goes periodically through contradictions and existentialist issues. This is always inherent to the mood and work of the photographer, and in his quest for creating and expressing a parallel dimension to human activity. My "New Abstractions 2" intend to reflect on such issues, but as well to provide a return to basic principles of light, contrast and geometry, in order to invite for further thoughts on existentialism and "beauty".
