For many years my life was stuck by a fear that prevented to express my real nature. I identified the roots of this block in the relationship with my father, which has always been a guide for me, but also an overwhelming personality, which I felt to please at any cost, even by denying my ambitions and desires. I have then transposed this model of satisfaction in any other relationship, until the part of me that I kept veiled strongly wanted to emerge. This series of self-portraits is a journey into a new stage of awareness, that explores and reveals the places of my identity.

I was born in Rome in 1980, and I currently live there. After achieving a technical master and a doctorate, I approached photography in 2013. I have attended courses and workshops, and I slowly explored different types of photography. Almost by chance, I started to shoot self-portraits and I have immediately perceived the strong healing power of this technique. Since then, I have collected hundreds of pictures with the aim of analyzing, researching and elaborating my own identity. In March 2019, I had my first solo exhibition during “Mese Della Fotografia Roma".
