Whispers In The Woods

Whispers in the woods is a personal work born in 2012 and still active. It describes and tells my personal view and research in Foreste Casentinesi Nationl Park, in Italy, to promote and support sustainable photography that many people call "slow photography". The ancient woods spoke to me in a personal journey made of emotions and connection with these old inhabitants of one of the most ancient and well-preserved forests in Europe.

I was born and raised in Tuscany, a land in my opinion among the most beautiful in the world, rich in history, culture, but above all in a fertile area that allowed me to breathe the great art of the cities and to experience nature in a intimate relationship between the symphonies of the waves on the rocks of the Tyrrhenian coast, the silence of the woods of the ancient Apennine forests, the solemnity of the Apuan Alps and the gentle reliefs of the Val d'Orcia and the Crete Senesi. My way of photographing nature and landscapes without or almost human presence was a slow and gradual passage
