Before and After is a photo series shot in the isolation and reflection of COVID-19. Being isolated during the height of the pandemic felt like a dream, it was both familiar and strange at the same time. I set out to find some sort of normalcy only to realize the world as I knew it had changed. The streets were completely abandoned, a surreal version of our new reality. The series captured the abandoned streets of Toronto during the pandemic. It features 40 images and is shot on 35mm black and white film.
