John Ruskin, Victorian English art critic made observations of the mountains over a 50yr period. Ruskin, "There are few thoughts likely to come across ordinary men, which have not already been expressed by greater men ... it is wiser...than to invent poorer ones.” Fearing mere facsimiles & always taken from one small window, by recruiting several local painters & overlaying my own objective black & white landscape imagery with their painted, subjective interpretations of our shared landscape in the style of the Pictoraism Movement the aim is to better reinterpret landscape photography.
