Italy has been living through the worst health, economic and social crisis of the last seventy years. Nearly a year has passed since a silent enemy stole into our cities, streets, shops, health centres, and into our homes. Graffiti has used this tragic period to remind us all that photography is an extraordinary medium that can be used anywhere and at any time to take photographs able to communicate with others, to inform, to arouse emotions. We have done this through the work of the thirty-three amateur and professional photographers.

In 2004 Graffiti took on the new, additional role of publishing house, producing high quality books on photography.
