The recent amplification of the Black Lives Matter voice has been hugely thought provoking, especially in considering the role played by white privilege in unconscious bias.Channelling the zeitgeist,my conceptual series of celebrated BBC broadcaster Ayo examines racism in media&society more broadly,addressing the idea of constraint & silencing, of constant challenge to be heard & to express, questioning just how civilized&equitable the systems we've created really are. Ending on positive & hopeful notes of breaking free, an ability for authenticity to be recognised&move towards liberation
