These days it seems everywhere you look you come across images of intense portraits of people from various tribes throughout Africa, in amazing costumes, most of them set against seas of artificial absolute blackness. And yet, these people, dressing up for the few dollars the tourists and photographers will give them, are very real, trying to survive in a world constantly changing around them, slowly cutting them off from their traditional way of life, forcing them to adapt, to evolve without at the same time leaving their culture behind. It's an almost impossible battle
