Shot at end of 2019, and edited in 2020 the series represents a nocturnal journey through the streets of one of the most fascinating neighborhoods of Rome, Garbatella, on the occasion of the centenary of its foundation. A popular and vital neighborhood that, at night, unveils his darker and deserted face, a prelude to the darkness that would soon invade the rest of the world.
Born in Bari, he began as self-taught photographer. After moving to Rome he studied photographic techniques, history and language attending thematic courses and workshops with Italian and international photographers. After his Master Degree in Architecture, he specialized in documentary, architectural and urban-landscape photography working, among others, with Maxxi Museum and Paolo Pellegrin Studio. He also promotes shared and collective projects. He published with L’Espresso, Int / AR Journal (Rhode Island School of Design), AR Magazine (Rome).
