In the period 2017-2019, an average of an estimated 130,000 people per year were registered with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) in the Netherlands. I belong to this group of people after a few years with domestic violence, in which the feeling of insecurity began to dominate my life. The world around me became more and more dangerous. I started avoiding people and places. In December 2021 I decided to go into therapy in a clinic in Limburg, The Netherlands. Instead of keeping a diary, I made my feeling tangible for myself by photographing it and making visible what is unseen.
