Mondello is a popular beach in Palermo, enclosed between Mount Gallo and Mount Pellegrino and detached from Palermo, thanks to the Favorita Park. Every year in this location, a private company assembles and rents tiny terraced houses, known with the italian words "cabine" or "capanne". Among these, inside the courtyards, the Palermo families meet for dine, play and tell stories, in the darkness broken by small lights hanging from to the umbrellas. The marine smell and the one of pine are strong, as well as the sound of the wind and sea that are the main soundtrack of this outside "summer theater", from seventy years.
