Ismael Ivo is a well-known brazilian solo dancer and choreograph. His charismatic intensity and his individual expression brought him international reputation. He worked together with artists like George Tabori, Marcia Haydée and Marina Abramovic. 2015 I made his portrait in Vienna, where he founded 1984 the international Dance Festival ImPulsTanz. It´s a pleasure to add him to my series artist portraits all over the world which is one of my long-term projects since 2012.
