This is Becky. I met her not very long ago and she is fighting breast cancer for a few months now. This portrait is part of the Breast Cancer Awarenessw project featuring fighters and survivors and helping to spread awareness. Here is what she has to say: Here it is... I know exactly how it feels to cry in the shower so no one can hear. I know what it's like to feel so overwhelmed that you struggle to make it through the day without falling apart. I know the pain of hurting so bad that you just wish it would all go away. BUT.. I also know that I am stronger than what I am fighting and stronger than I ever thought I could be. I know that I matter and that I am important. I know that through the darkness I can see a beautiful future bursting with so much possibility. But most of all, I know that I am awesome. Ladies..Please do for me one thing.. Do not waste one more day without checking your breasts. Check them now. Xxx
