I spent 3 weeks documenting one of the most beautiful women of Africa. Extraordinary hairstyles, ornamentation and the red painted skin tone make Himba one of the most specific culture in the world. The portrait of proud mothers with their children.

The author of the works is Adam Kozio?, a twenty-six-year-old photographer from Poznan. In 2013 he started a photographic project whose aim is the documentation of the dying tribal cultures in the world. He draws particular attention to human phenotypes, tattoos, scarifications, ornaments and the appearance which identifies a given tribe. In order to carry out his project, Adam Kozio? has selected a few dozen of the most characteristic cultures which he intends to approach within the next years to come. So far he has visited 18 tribes from Asia and Africa.
