Located only a few hundred meters from prestigious «Grands Crus Classés of Bordeaux”, the “Crus Bourgeois” have a different positioning. More modest in size, they belonged to families for a long time. The winemaker’s profession has long been reserved for men, but for decades times have changed. These women from Bordeaux creating remarkable “Crus Bourgeois” embody this renewal. The fields and know-how are transmitted from generation to generation. Children become aware of the heritage value of the vine and once they become adults they generally work in family.
