Quantum World 'Industrial'

  • Prizes
Gold in Science/Technology, 1st place winner in Science

Any industrial object can be photographed not only documentarily, but also artistically, and a harmonious combination of both components opens a special aesthetic of industrial style to the viewer. This project is made at the factories of the Moskabelmet Group of Companies - one of the leaders in the Russian cable and wire production. This is not a catalog of equipment and not an instruction for the production. There are no people on the photos, and industrial mechanisms seem to live independently in the machine world, which is practically true: modern production is highly automated.

Nik was born in 1984 in Ivanovo, Russia. He graduated from the Ivanovo State Power University with a degree in Electrical Power Plants, and since 2003 has been working in Power Engineering. Currently he lives in Moscow. In 2018 he graduated from the specialty "Photojournalism" of the Lomonosov Moscow State University with a graduate work on "Aesthetics of industrial photography in modern society." He is member of The Russian Union of Art Photographers and has interests in industrial and art photography. [ www.brezginov.art ]
